“We had a great tour of Pompeii. Our guide Teresa was very knowledgeable, passionate about Pompeii and also very personable. We were able to skip the long lines and she had additional suggestions if we wanted to see more of Pompeii. Wear good comfortable shoes as the paths are quite uneven. and you may have to climb up a couple of steps.”

“It was a great experience and our guide Marcela was very good at explaining the history behind Pompei, the people and their lifestyles. That itself made the tour most interesting as we were amazed at the advanced way they lived for their times back then. The way archeologists have restored the original homes and their artifacts is amazing. We did the tour on our way from Naples to Sorrento and it worked out great as we could store our luggage at Pompei Scavi station and do the tour easily. Also the cafeteria inside Pompei ruins at the end of the tour and before the exit has some great sandwiches.”

“We visited Pompeii today and were guided by Anna, who was absolutely outstanding. Born in Pompeii, she has an incredible personal connection to the site, and her passion was evident throughout the entire tour. As an art historian, her knowledge was exceptional—she knew the answer to every question we asked. She led us to the most fascinating and important areas of the site and brought Pompeii vividly to life with her insights and stories. This was one of the best guided tours we’ve ever experienced, and we couldn’t recommend Anna highly enough.”

We had a wonderful lunch at a farmer’s house with fresh cheese and vegetables along with bread and wine. Bring some euro to tip for lunch as this is how the farmers sustain their life in the hills. Highly recommended. We got some of the best photos from our trip on this tour.”
