We were able to skip the long lines and she had additional suggestions if we wanted to see more of Pompeii. Wear good comfortable shoes as the paths are quite uneven. and you may have to climb up a couple of steps.”

That itself made the tour most interesting as we were amazed at the advanced way they lived for their times back then. The way archeologists have restored the original homes and their artifacts is amazing. We did the tour on our way from Naples to Sorrento and it worked out great as we could store our luggage at Pompei Scavi station and do the tour easily. Also the cafeteria inside Pompei ruins at the end of the tour and before the exit has some great sandwiches.”

“Purchasing this experience was very easy and, having used GYG before, we were confident doing so. It is necessary upon arrival to collect a physical ticket which means it’s not 100% “skip the line” but it was very quick. There is a Q code link to the audio guide available in various languages. Herculaneum is a mini Pompeii, very interesting large enough without getting too much. It cost us €50 getting there from the port and €60 return, both by taxi.”
